New Students: Set up your account at Georgia College & State University

Step 1: Enroll in Duo Authentication

1. Head to my.gcsu.edu. Do not attempt to login.
2. Select “Duo Enroll” at the top of the page.

3. Use your Email Address and Default Password
   • If you do not know your GCID or Bobcats email address, both can be found in the top section of your application status portal.
   • Your initial password will be the following: Capital First letter of Last Name + GCID + DOB + @GCSU

3. Follow the steps to install and enroll in DUO.
   • Add two authentication methods – the DUO app and a second phone number are recommended.
4. When you reach the screen that verifies your successful enrollment, please press “Logout.”

Step 2: Set your Password and Campus Email

1. Log into your campus email on Microsoft
   • Use your Bobcats email address and default password to log into your Microsoft email.
2. When you login to your Microsoft Email for the first time you will be required to enroll in Microsoft Self-Service Password. We recommend that you add at least two methods for password recovery.

STEP 3. ENJOY ACCESS TO GCSU RESOURCES

• You are ready to use your account to access your GCSU resources! We suggest starting at my.gcsu.edu.
